BUCKIE Thistle clinched a third round William Hill Scottish Cup clash with Championship side Dunfermline Athletic with a 6-2 replay win at Gretna 2008.
And striker John McLeod was the star man with five of the six goals.
McLeod struck twice inside the opening 10 minutes to give Buckie the perfect start.
The Jags had Stuart Taylor sent off before half-time and Gretna pulled one back early in the second half.
However, McLeod upped the tempo with a second half hat-trick and Craig Dorrat added late sixth after Gretna had grabbed a second goal.
Buckie can now look forward to this Saturday’s Aberdeenshire Cup final against Cove Rangers at Turriff.
