Buckie Thistle manager Graeme Stewart admitted Wednesday night’s six goal mauling by Forres was horrible to watch.

However, he has backed his players to pick themselves up and go on another good run.

“That was very poor. It showed how much we miss Lewis MacKinnon when he is injured.

“Brora, Cove, Strathspey, Huntly, Fraserburgh, Clach – all teams we have let in three or more goals against.

“We are relying too much on Kevin Fraser, Dennis Wyness, Chris Angus, our flair players, to get us out of a hole.

“We have got to take it on the chin. As coaches we have to hammer it home that is it not okay to lose six goals.

“We had won eight of the last nine before tonight, but I would say six of those performances we could have done better.

“It is still looking good and positive. It was a really bad night and letting in six goals against one of the teams around us is embarrassing.”
